Tournament Regulations
  • For basic regulations, please see the separate document provided at the time of the registration. (English, Japanese)
    Further points of the regulations are described below.
  • The players are divided into 3 regions according to their countries.
    • Region A: China
    • Region B: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, France
    • Region C: Brazil, Canada
  • The "recommended time windows" for the games are as follows.
    • Region A vs Region A: 19:00~23:00 China Time on weekdays
    • Region B vs Region B: 16:00~20:00 UTC on weekdays
    • Region C vs Region C: 23:00~27:00 UTC on weekdays
    • Region A vs Region B: 11:00~15:00 UTC on weekends
    • Region B vs Region C: 15:00~19:00 UTC on weedends
    • Region A vs Region C: 24:00~27:00 UTC on Saturday (Sunday morning in China, Saturday evening in Region C)
  • To make a fixed appointment with an opponent (including outside the above recommended time), please follow the below procedure.
    1. If you already have the contact of the opponent, you can directly communicate with her. If you do not know the contact information, please contact our executive office (info@81dojo.com) first, and we will contact the opponent asking whether she agrees to communicate with you on e-mail basis.
    2. After you agree on an appointment, one of the players must report the appointment immediately to the executive office before the game, putting the opponent in CC.
  • All games must be played in a special game room for the tournament. (Otherwise the game will not count.) How to create this game room is as follows.
    1. Push "Wait for game" button in the lobby and open the rule setting window.
    2. Select "Official Tournament", and you will be asked to input a special password. This password will be given to the participants shortly before the tournament period starts.
    3. If you input a correct password, a select box for tounament names appears. Select "Ricoh-Cup" and finalize the setting. Then the opponent can challenge you, after which you can start the game in the special game room.
  • For the games that have not been played by the end of the tournament peirod, following rules are additionally applied.
    • If one of the players has played 5 games more than the other has, she gets 3 points (win-by-default) as long as it is confirmed that she has been trying to find the opponent online.
    • If a player has not played any game at all, all her opponents get 3 points (win-by-default)
  • The "Rank" column in the above tables are not always correct when multiple players tie with points. (It automatically ranks the upper player higher. However, the real rank is determined with the method described in the separate document about the basic regulations.)
